Diamondbacks Nation is both a news and commentary website and the broader community of Arizona baseball fans. Diamondbacks Nation is us ... and you.

Our primary focus is on the local team and we wear our colors with pride. Online, we will feature a mix of regular installments (i.e., series previews, minor league updates), short-form daily notes and longer feature articles.

We intend to organize Diamondbacks supporters to make our presence known, home and away. But we know loyalty to our club requires us to speak truth to management, players and even fans. We will call the game as we see it, from an Arizona perspective.

Ultimately, we envision DiamondbacksNation.com as a destination for anyone who appreciates a smart, funny, occasionally irreverent take on baseball. While our point of reference is the home team, we love the game in full. We hope to build a community centered in Phoenix, Arizona, but which extends well beyond our borders.
